A painter at heart, I studied at the Maine College of Art, and obtained my Bachelor's of Fine Arts degree. I share my passion with my students as an art educator and hold a Masters of Education. I am also am a certified firefighter/EMT and love to serve my community.

My Background
If I had to choose one medium to work with it would be difficult to do. I love to work with many different types of paints such as oils, acrylics, and watercolor. However, I love to use photography, woodburning, sharpies, and clay. I let the project determine what I use, because I find it less limiting.

Nature is one of the most inspiring things to me. I am constantly finding creatures and landscapes get my hands wanting to replicate their beauty in some way.
